In partnership with Plumas County, the Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship (SBTS) has submitted an annual application to the California Department of Parks and Recreation, Off-Highway Motor Vehicle Recreation Division, to request funding for maintenance on 26 miles of trail located within the Mount Hough Trail System.
Preliminary grant applications are available for public review and comment on the State of California’s website (http://ohv.parks.ca.gov) until April 4th. Please consider showing your support for this project!
Here are the steps to find the application:
- Click the link provided here: http://ohv.parks.ca.gov
- Click the blue box that says “Click Here To Provide Public Comments,” then click the blue hyperlink in the sentence: “To provide public comments click here“
- To find the Plumas County grant application you must select “Plumas County”in the Agency box […} or type Plumas County into the space that says “Agency Name.”
- The “Mount Hough 2015 / 2016 Ground Operation” application will come up and from here you should be able to provide public comment.
