What We Do
Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship is a non-profit organization that builds and maintains multiuse trails in the Sierra Buttes, Tahoe, Plumas and Lassen National Forests.
Our mission is building sustainable recreation-based communities through stewardship, job creation and world-class events. Providing quality outdoor experiences through trail construction and maintenance in the Lost Sierra.

Quincy Volunteer Epic
May 15-18
Our fun-filled Epic Weekend campout. We cover the camping, grub, and libations; you build trail and play in the mountains. An Epic weekend!

Lost & Found Gravel Festival
June 12-15
Epically beautiful bike race and gravel festival. Riding events, camping, and live music. One of the few gravel events on the Sierra Crest. Supports our trail work.

Downieville Volunteer Epic
July 11-13

Downieville Classic
August 11-13
Race on the Sierra Crest and back to town, and the Downieville Downhill, or just come to enjoy the bike festival for the weekend. Either way, you win. Supports our trail work.

Mountains to Meadows Endurofest
September 11-14
Grinduro gravel enduro, new Mount Hough MTB and eMTB Enduro. A weekend festival of excellent food, a handmade bike show, live music and camping. Supports our trailwork.
