Come party with us and celebrate 10 years! We will be hosting Trailfest at Nakoma Resort on Saturday, January 19th, 2013 at 5:30 pm. ALL proceeds from this event will benefit the restoration of trails in the Lakes Basin.
Trailfest is going to be a very fun benefit event with live music provided by Buster Blue, dancing, food catered from Nakoma Golf Resort, beer from The Brewing Lair, silent and live auction with items donated from The Grand Sierra, Patagonia, REI and many more! We will also have project updates from the SBTS staff! Tickets are only $35 and all proceeds go directly to maintaining and restoring the trails in the Lakes Basin. We can’t do this without support from our local community, so come out and celebrate with us! You can buy tickets HERE, or at these locations: Nakoma Golf Resort, Pangaea, Quincy Natural Foods, Eco Centric and Chalet View Lodge.

On Sunday after Trailfest, stay and play! The Plumas Ski Club is hosting their winter Longboard Races at Plumas Eureka State Park, just outside of Johnsville. If you've never been to a longboards ski race, get ready to see what ski history looks like! The racers are dressed in period clothing and race down the hill on long ski's starting at 14 feet long! This event is free and family friendly. For more information, Click HERE!
