Lost Sierra 50k Endurance Run
Thank you 2012 runners, partners and sponsors! We are looking forward to the Lost Sierra 50k run in 2013!
Join us for our world-class endurance run through the Lakes Basin Recreation Area on September 28th, 2013! The "Lost Sierra" is a 50 kilometer (32- mile) long foot race that starts and ends in the town of Graeagle in the Plumas National Forest.

The race course has been hand-picked by our friend, Dave. Dave likes to run really far, really fast, has competed in a bunch of 50k races and is quite familiar with the Lakes Basin trail system. The mostly singletrack route ascends from beautiful Mohawk Valley to the crest of the Sierra, summits two mountain peaks, skirts the edges of more than a dozen alpine lakes and finishes with a 4000' descent back into town.

With one year under our belt and 179 runners last year, we had a successful event and learned alot. Stay tuned for details about the lost sierra in 2013! Just confirmed, Sierra Nevada Brewery will be back in 2013!
In case you aren't familiar with us, we're well seasoned in the craft of producing quality events. After all, we’re the same team that has produced the Downieville Classic mountain bike race and All-Mountain World Championships for the past 18 years. The Lost Sierra will follow the same successful model of the Downieville Classic; a high-quality race course, good food, tasty libations, live music and camping under the open Sierra sky. And like the Downieville Classic, all net proceeds generated from the event will help support our local trail maintenance program, ensuring our trails stay in tip-top condition.
