Packer Saddle Snow Party, July 2-3

Since mother nature favored the skier this year, SBTS is hosting a Take Back The Mountain trail weekend July 2nd and 3rd.  We need volunteer help to prep our beloved race course for the Classic.  In normal SBTS fashion, we plan on having a good time and providing enough food and beer to satisfy the biggest appetite.  Also, since we have the rare opportunity to play in the snow, we are planning to host the first annual Sled Race Classic.  Wayno even thinks he has a spot picked out to dig out an "Ice Bar".  It will be like partying at a swanky club in NY.... except different.
The Details:
We will meet at 9 AM on Saturday and Sunday morning at the top of Packer Saddle.  From there we will break up into crews and get our instructions from Henry and Coz.
Camping: Top of Packer Saddle, (yes it is clear of snow at the parking lot where the shuttles drop off). Obviously there are not facilities at this location, so please plan accordingly. We can camp there Friday and Saturday night.
Food:  We will provide breakfast, bag lunch and dinner Sat and breakfast and bag lunch Sunday. Cold beer is also on the menu.
Trail Work: We will have crews go out Saturday and Sunday and we will be working in and around the snow.  Please dress accordingly. Even when it is hot, proper footwear is super important.  We will be doing drainage work, snow removal, and trail clean up on Butcher.
- The Entertainment: Well, we make no guarantees, but we are pretty confident that a  32 person bracket, single elimination sled race will be fun... If you aren't into that, watching Wayno cook with a cold beer after a hard days work is always worthwhile.

We are very grateful for the outpouring of support from the tribe and look forward to seeing you on the mountain!
