Join SBTS on September 8-9th in celebration of our Fall Epic Weekend, where all the food and beer is covered for our beloved SBTS Members! The weekend festivities include: sleeping under the stars, bicycle riding on the area’s finest trails, hiking on the Pacific Crest Trail, swimming in alpine lakes, fishing mountain streams and one of our famous prize drawings!
We will be camping at Lakes Basin Campround and have sites reserved for participants. Come on up and enjoy Fall in the Sierra.
SPECIAL SUPPORTED RIDE/RUN SEPTEMBER 8th
On September 8th, we have a special treat for everyone (non-members included). We'll be offering a supported version (2 aid stations) of our soon to be legendary Lost Sierra Endurance Run racecourse. In total, the course is 32 miles with 6,500' of elevation gain. You can go for the entire loop, or you you can pick and choose shorter routes. All sections are epic! We will NOT be providing shuttles for your epic run/ride, so please plan accordingly.
You do not need to be an SBTS Member to participate in the pre-run, although we do encourage you to join us as a member and a volunteer (especially if you'd like to camp out and have your food and beverages taken care of for the weekend). Read More »

Membership
Remember, you must be a current SBTS member to attend an Epic. You can renew online or renew at the event with cash or check. Minimum donation for an annual membership is $50/yr and includes access to two Epics per year along with a fancy pair of socks or shirt so you can REPRESENT. Read More »

Mountain Epics are free to all SBTS members* and allow us to enjoy the trails we work hard to maintain all year. It's our way of saying thanks to all of you - party style. Epics include meals, camping, group led rides, hiking, and usually a few special treats. We have 2 per year and they are always fantastic.
